Material: | 100% wood |
Smooth up and down, sturdy surface, works as needed. Only reason for the 4-stars is that I'd like to see it have a retractable keyboard tray...with the tray being fixed it raises my keyboard above the desired height and thus throws off the ergonomics. I might just remove the keyboard tray all together, should be perfect then.
Good product overall, matching the description and easy to set up.
Two small concerns:
- small scratches on the surface immediately after installing. Can't tell if they were there initially, but it suggests a coating prone to scratches.
- too weak spring: with two flat screens on the stand, it turns out to be hard lifting the stand to its higher position, though the spring should do most of the work. Underdesigned?
Seems good for the price so far. I have dual monitors on mine with lots of room to spare. All you have to assemble is the keyboard tray (with some philips bolts). The up action is smooth and easy.
